Scapegoats: Disability Hate Crime & the Media

In support of this year’s Disability History Month, the FDA and CPS Disabled Staff Network are hosting this event around this years theme of Disability and the Media.

Starting with a networking lunch at 12.30pm, the event will begin at 1.30pm and hear from speakers including,

  • Katharine Quarmby, campaigning journalist and author of ‘Scapegoat’

  • Stephen Brookes, founder of the Disability Hate Crime Network and activist

  • Ann Novis, Disability Hate Crime lead for DPAC and Inclusion London.

The event will end by 4pm when there will be an opportunity for some further networking.
